Knowledge Management for Fuzzy Case-based Reasoning Diagnosis of Student’s Historical Text Comprehension

This paper concerns aspects of knowledge management like knowledge representation, learning and engineering in a FuzzyCase-Based Reasoning Diagnosis model of students’ cognitive profiles on Historical Text Comprehension (F-CBR-DHTC). Knowledge uncertainty is the main obstacle in modelling human-like diagnosis of students’ cognitive profiles from their observable behaviour and different techniques are used for facilitating knowledge management. To overcome problems with managing the vagueness in the acquisition of empirical knowledge and in knowledge representation we used fuzzy logic and Case Base Reasoning (CBR). FuzzyCBR synergism makes easier the case adaptation by facilitating case retrieval from the case base.
